Greece rapped over ‘shocking’ asylum centers
European Home Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom on Wednesday criticized Greece for failing to improve the treatment and processing of asylum seekers.
?The humanitarian situation at asylum centers remains shocking,? Malmstrom was quoted as saying by Austrian newspaper Die Presse.
The comments came a day after the Commission said that the EU would not contribute to financing a fence at the Greek-Turkish border.
