Piraeus pharmacies to close on Friday in respect for murdered pharmacist
Pharmacies in Piraeus will be closed on Friday in a mark of respect for a 54-year-old pharmacist who was shot dead by robbers on Wednesday.
Authorities identified the victim as Spyros Poukamisas. He was shot five times when he attempted to prevent two robbers stealing a bag containing 1,600 euros, which were takings from his businesses.
According to witnesses, Poukamisas said: ?Not me again, guys?, when the assailants approached him. The pharmacists had been robbed last month as well.
Police said the two suspects made off in a yellow Peugeot.
