Car sales continue to drop

Car sales continued falling significantly in November, hit by a shrinking available income in the country, official data showed on Thursday.

Passenger car sales fell 43.9 pct in November, compared with the same month last year, according to data posted by Greece’s statistical service ELSTAT.

Data showed that 72.816 cars have come into circulation in Greece since January – including used vehicles from abroad – a 39 percent decline over the same period the previous year.
