Two Germans missing during river trek

Two German tourists were reported missing on Tuesday afternoon in the Selinuntas River in the Peloponnese. The two men were on a river trek along with another four compatriots.

According to reports, the group of six took off from Petsaki, Kalavryta, and boarded a kayak when they reached the Selinuntas River.

During the trek the kayak overturned and three of the men fell into the water, while the rest of the roup managed to get back onboard and eventually seek help. One of the tourists was located later on, while the other two were still missing by nightfall.

The two missing Germans were reportedly equipped with food and water supplies.
