Police arrest bogus nuns in Thessaloniki

Police in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, have arrested four women for allegedly posing as nuns to receive gold offerings from the faithful.

The four suspects, who are aged between 25 and 56, are accused of attempting to deceive two women in the Menemeni district of Thessaloniki in order to get hold of precious jewelry.

The suspects are due to face a prosecutor on Thursday.
