Minimum wage to stay at 586 euros through 2017
The private sector minimum salary will remain at 586 euros per month through 2017, the Labor Ministry said on Monday.
Its level will be re-examined after that point by the government following consultations with social partners and taking into account the economic and employment conditions at the time, ministry sources said, and not through exclusive bilateral agreements between employers and employees that used to determine salaries in the past.
