Trial of Roma couple charged with abduction of ‘Maria’ postponed
The trial of a Roma couple charged with abducting a girl aged 5 or 6, known as Maria, who was found in a Roma camp in Farsala, central Greece, has been postponed to January 14.
The decision was reached after the woman’s defense asked the court to consider her transfer from Korydallos Prison to a jail in Larissa as well as for more time to evaluate new evidence that has emerged.
