Organs of young woman who died in bus crash donated
The family of a 23-year-old student who died on Tuesday when the KTEL intercity bus on which she was traveling crashed into an illegally parked truck on the national highway leading north to Thessaloniki has donated her organs.
The director of Thessaloniki’s AHEPA hospital confirmed on Thursday that her eyes will be transplanted into two patients suffering from degenerative eye disorders – a man aged 29 and a 30-year-old woman.
A second female student also died in the crash.
