Finance minister appoints Belgian economist to board of HFSF
Greek Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras has appointed Belgian economist Wouter Devriendt to the board of the Hellenic Financial Stability Facility, Bloomberg reported.
Devriendt spent 12 years in a variety of roles across ABN AMRO’s international Wholesale Banking network and at group head office. Initially, he focused on structured finance while based in Latin America, the USA (Houston) and Central Eastern Europe (Prague), according to Bloomberg.
The economist also serves as an independent consultant for Belgium’s Federal Participations and Investment Company (FPIC).
