Three teenagers arrested for mugging passengers on Athens metro, Proastiakos

Authorities revealed on Monday that three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of mugging passengers on the Athens metro and Proastiakos suburban railway.

According to the police, two of suspects are aged 17 and one 15. They were arrested in Piraeus on Friday.

They are suspected of threatening passengers on metro and Proastiakos trains and at Aghia Paraskevi and Doukissis Plakentias stations.

One of the alleged muggers has been arrested in the past for similar offenses but had been released on bail.
