Greece to offer 4 million euro reward for arrest of ‘terrorists’ [Update]

Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias on Wednesday said that the country would offer a reward of 4 million euros for the arrest of terrorists.

The minister’s comments were made following a visit to Greek police headquarters, while the government was expected to release an official statement regarding the reward later in the day.

Dendias noted that the reward regarded information leading to the arrest of convicted November 17 member Christoforos Xeros, the self-professed leader of the leftist Revolutionary Struggle, Nikos Maziotis and his companion, Pola Roupa, as well as members of the Militant Popular Revolutionary Forces, an urban guerilla group that has claimed the assassination of two Golden Members in Neo Iraklio in northern Athens, in November last year.
