Greek air traffic controllers call off stoppage
Greek air traffic controllers have called off a three-hour stoppage scheduled for Thursday, their union announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The industrial action had been called in order for union members to join colleagues in other European countries as part of a two-day strike action regarding issues concerning the viability of air navigation service providers (ANSPs).
Meanwhile, strikes by air traffic controllers in other European countries disrupted air traffic on Wednesday, with Deutsche Lufthansa AG announcing the cancelation of 42 flights and discount carrier Ryanair Holdings Plc scrapping over 80 flights, among other companies.
