Snow, ice make driving tricky in northern Greece highlands
Motorists are advised to keep a set of snow chains handy when traveling in central and western Macedonia as snow and morning frosts have made driving conditions hazardous along several parts of the road network, according to authorities.
Despite a rise in temperatures on Wednesday, police said motorists should use snow chains when driving in the mountains of Pella, Grevena, Kastoria, Florina and Edessa.
