Athens police seek ID clues following gruesome discovery

The dismembered legs of what police think was a man were discovered in a dumpster in Kallithea, southern Athens, on Tuesday.

The two body parts had been stuffed in a holdall that was placed in the bin.

Police said there were no initial clues giving them more information about the dead person’s identity.

Forensic tests were due to be carried out.
