Couple convicted of sexually abusing their children
A court in Pyrgos, in the Peloponnese, on Wednesday convicted and handed heavy sentences to a couple accused of sexually abusing three of their four children.
The father was given a 123-year prison sentence while his spouse was handed a 103-year prison term. Both were expected to serve a maximum of 25 years behind bars.
The couple was arrested in Patra last year following complaints filed by one of their children and another relative.
