Second Turk warship violates Greek waters in just over two weeks
A Turkish warship entered Greek territorial waters for the second time in just over two weeks on Tuesday, Greek military sources said.
The corvette TCG Bandirma (not pictured) entered Greek waters between the islands of Evia and Andros shortly before 6.30 a.m. and then approached the islands of Kea and Kythnos before leaving Greek waters shortly just before 10 a.m., sources said.
Hellenic Navy vessels and Army aircraft monitored the vessel’s movements, they added.
The incident followed a similar one at the end of last month involving another Turkish warship, the Giresun.
