Golden Dawn spokesman’s request for removal of magistrates denied
The Council of Appeals Court Judges on Thursday rejected a demand by Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris for the removal of the two magistrates investigating whether the neofascist party has been or is involved in criminal activities.
The council said there was no evidence to suggest there were any grounds to Kasidiaris’s claims that investigating magistrates Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou are ideologically biased against the party and have been leaking information regarding the progress of the probe.
