Yiannis Sgouros suggests he will run for Attica governor again
Attica Governor Yiannis Sgouros indicated on Saturday that he intends to stand for reelection in May’s local polls.
Speaking to Mega TV, the official said that he would like to run, although he has not announced his candidacy officially.
“The regional authority does not owe a single euro to banks or other organizations,” said Sgouros, who was backed by PASOK in the 2010 local elections.
Sgouros also said he was in favor MPs who intend to compete in the local polls giving up their parliamentary seats to do so.
