Fresh quake, 4.7, hits Cephalonia
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook the Ionian island of Cephalonia at 2.48 p.m. on Wednesday, the Athens Geodynamic Institute reported.
The tremor’s epicenter was located 19 kilometers southwest of the town of Argostoli.
According to seismologists the quake was part of regular aftershock activity following a a 5.8 Richter quake on January 26.
