Greek pharmacists call fresh strike on Friday, Monday
Pharmacists, who were on strike Monday and Tuesday, will work on Wednesday and Thursday, before closing again on Friday and Monday, the Panhellenic Pharmacists’ Union said on Tuesday.
Pharmacists are protesting plans to liberalize their sector and the over-the-counter drugs market in line with recommendations made by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to boost competition in the Greek economy.
