Crete man kills father and sister before shooting self
A 54-year-old pharmacists in Ierapetra on the southern Aegean island of Crete on Monday killed his father and his sister before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide, the state-run Athens-Macedonia News Agency (AMNA) reported on Tuesday.
According to the AMNA, which cited police sources, the 54-year-old left a note indicating the terms of his will, though he did not explain why he shot to death his 75-year-old father and his 43-year-old sister before taking his own life.
Sources did indicate that he was suffering from mental and emotional strain due to money problems.
