OFI gets semifinal lead over Panathinaikos
A goal by Thanassis Papazoglou in the 69th minute gave OFI Crete a 1-0 home victory and a slim lead in the Greek Cup semifinals with Panathinaikos on Wednesday.
The match was balanced with neither team producing any major chances in the first half, while domination in the second was shared between the two teams at the Theodoros Vardinoyiannis stadium at Iraklio.
Panathinaikos paid the price for its failure to convert its chances as its strikers were unable to build on recent good performances.
The return leg is scheduled for April 16 in Athens.
