Greece’s flu death toll hits 104 as 45 remain hospitalized
A total of 104 people have died of flu-related illnesses in Greece since the start of the flu season this year, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) said on Thursday.
KEELPNO, which has been monitoring the spike in the number of cases of the virulent H1N1 strain this year, said that 45 people are currently undergoing treatment in intensive-care units. It added that a total of 277 have been hospitalized due to the flu.
