Terna Energy sees profits drop in 2013

Blue chip Terna Energy on Friday reported a 71.2 percent annual decline in earnings, which fell from 14.2 million euros in 2012 to 4.1 million last year.

However, the energy firm reported a 12.6 percent increase in group sales, which rose from 124 million euros in 2012 to 139.6 million in 2013, mainly thanks to the increase in the company’s energy activity as a result of the growth in its Greek and overseas production capacity last year compared with 2012.
