One arrest made in Patra after clashes with riot police
Twenty-one people were detained for questioning and one was arrested in the early hours of Saturday in the western port city of Patra following a clash with police at an open-air concert.
Riot police were called to Ethnikis Antistasis Square in the city center after police were unable to contain a group of some 150 troublemakers, believed to be self-styled anarchists, when called in by residents complaining about the noise.
Members of the group threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the riot officers, who responded with tear gas.
