Stavros Theodorakis of To Potami party in Brussels
The leader of the recently formed party To Potami (The River), journalist Stavros Theodorakis, on Wednesday concluded meetings in Brussels with representatives of three political groupings in the European Parliament.
Theodorakis, whose party is polling third and fourth in surveys, has not yet decided which group To Potami will join if it elects MEPs in May’s European Parliament elections.
Theodorakis met with Hannes Swoboda, who heads the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, Rebecca Harms of the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance, and Guy Verhofstadt, who leads the Liberals and Democrats.
