Large car park opens at Athens’s newest metro station

An underground car park opened on Monday at Aghia Marina, Athens’s newest metro station.

The car park at the Line 3 station in western Athens has 383 spaces for vehicles.

Metro passengers are able to park for free if they show a valid public transport ticket.

Drivers who do not use the metro but want to park their cars in the facility will be charged a small fee.

The car park will be open from 05.15 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday to Thursday and 05.15 to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. It will be closed on Sundays.
