Target for sell-off revenues in 2014 set at 1.5 bln euros

The medium-term fiscal plan submitted by the government to Parliament this week provides for revenues from privatizations to reach 1.5 billion euros within 2014.

This will include the completion of sell-off projects such as the marinas of Chios, Pylos and Alimos, regional airports, the natural gas transmission network operator (DESFA), the Thessaloniki Water Company (EYATH), railway companies Trainose and Rosco, and horse-racing organizer ODIE.

Revenues will also come from the sale of Astir Palace hotel and other properties in Greece and abroad, as well as the sale and leaseback of 28 buildings.
