Man electrocuted while trying to steal PPC wiring near Aigio

A 31-year-old man died of electrocution on Friday while attempting to remove copper wiring from a Public Power Corporation (PPC) station located near the Selinounta Bridge outside the town of Aigio in the Peloponnese.

According to police files, the victim allegedly fell from a PPC pole after being electrocuted during an attempt to remove the copper wires.

The victim’s 39-year-old accomplice was subsequently arrested and charged.
