Man detained in Ilia for policeman’s fatal stabbing
A man has been detained in the Peloponnese on suspicion of stabbing to death an off-duty policeman.
The officer, a father of two, attempted to stop a robbery at a neighboring home in Ilia on Sunday when he was attacked. He was taken to the hospital but doctors could not save his life.
The identity of the suspect was not made public.
