Thessaloniki police question man over makeshift brothel

A 41-year-old man was being questioned on Tuesday by police in Thessaloniki on suspicion of turning his apartment into a makeshift brothel.

Three women, aged 31, 33 and 36, who police said were foreign nationals without determining their ethnic origin, were arrested following a raid on the apartment on Monday.

Police were alerted to the apartment by neighbors who complained that women were offering sexual services in exchange for payment on the premises.
