Public Order Ministry, IOM sign 13-ml-euro deal for voluntary repatriations

Greek Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday signed an agreement with the head of the local mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Daniel Esdras, for a new program of voluntary repatriations for irregular migrants.

The budget for the new program is set at 13 million euros, with 75 percent of that to be covered by European Union funding and the remainder by the Greek state.
