Greek university admin staff to start 3-day strike
University administrative staff are due to begin a three-day strike on Wednesday.
They are protesting the fact that colleagues who were placed in a labor pool late last year have not yet been transferred to other positions and are in danger of being dismissed.
The union representing the university employees said that if the government does not provide guarantees about the 399 administrative staff affected there could be more strikes, which would put the academic semester at risk.
