Deposition by far right MP Antonis Gregos postponed
The deposition by Golden Dawn lawmaker Antonis Gregos scheduled for Thursday has been postponed to June 25.
The extension was granted by special magistrates Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou who are leading an investigation into whether the neofascist party constitutes a criminal organization.
The decision was made following a request for the dismissal of the two magistrates filed by jailed GD leader Nikos Michaloliakos on Tuesday. The request is based on allegations that Stathis Boukouras, a Golden Dawn MP who left the party in May after claiming that he was unaware of its “criminal activities,” was being coerced by the investigators to testify against the party.
Depositions by several other GD lawmakers have also been postponed.
