Bail of 1 million euros dropped for former MP
An investigating magistrate on Thursday ordered that a former MP accused of breaching state secret laws does not have to pay 1 million euros in bail.
Michalis Karchimakis, an ex-PASOK deputy, was charged after a former official of the Greek Intelligence Service (EYP) accused the politician of possessing in 2006 a classified document that was addressed to the prime minister of the time as well the ministers of defense and public order.
