Probe ordered into reports of university staff occupying premises

A prosecutor was assigned on Wednesday to investigate reports alleging that a sit-in by students at the campus of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) has been supported by members of the university’s administration, who have gone on to occupy other parts of the premises.

The sit-in, now in its second week and launched in protest at a troika-mandated mobility scheme for administrative staff, is threatening to derail the summer semester.
