Quake measuring 4.3 Richter recorded south of Crete
An earthquake with an initial magnitude of 4.3 Richter rattled the southern Aegean island of Crete on Tuesday morning, the Athens-based Geodynamic Institute reported.
The tremor hit shortly after 10 a.m. off the coast of the seaside town of Aghios Nikolaos on the island’s southeast and had a depth of 10 kilometers.
There were no reports of injuries or damages.
