Attica hospital workers to hold five-hour walkout on Wednesday
Workers at public hospitals in the Attica region will walk off the job from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and stage a protest rally at 11 a.m. outside the Health Ministry
They are protesting plans for a performance evaluation that may determine whether they are kept or let go as part of a civil service overhaul.
Other civil sector workers held a stoppage and a protest on Tuesday, though the turnout was quite small and did not cause any major disruptions in the city center.
