Testing behavior

No country is capable of functioning properly without having an elementary evaluation system in place to assess its public sector employees.

In Greece, a country where the lowest common denominator reigns supreme, the term “evaluation” has been demonized both by unionists as well as a partisan system which has a tendency to appoint its own people without paying any attention to their qualifications.

The country has now reached a point where ministry administrations, not to mention the ministers themselves, are fighting against this clearly crucial institution.

In the eyes of taxpaying citizens, however, this kind of behavior blatently being shown by the state machine is nothing short of provocative given that no employee in the private sector could envision enjoying permanent tenure without ever having to undergo any kind of evaluation.
