Multi-bill containing prior actions ready for Parliament
The multi-bill that includes the prior actions Greece needs to complete to receive another 1 billion euros in bailout loans is likely to be submitted to Parliament later on Monday, Kathimerini understands.
The draft law is not likely to contain all the actions needed as some, such as the scrapping of nuisance taxes, might be added in the days to come.
The multi-bill, however, will contain provisions for the delineation of the Greek coastline and the creation of 400 new positions at the general secretariat for revenues.
The legislation has to be voted through Parliament by August 8 so Greece can receive the next bailout sub-tranche by the end of the month.
