Coast guard appoints experts to probe deadly Myconos speedboat accident
The coast guard has appointed two experts to investigate a speedboat accident on Myconos that caused the death of a 10-year-old boy.
The boy was on a ride being pulled by the speedboat but fell off and was then struck by the vessel.
A prosecutor on Syros ordered on Tuesday that the speedboat driver and the owner of the water sports firm be released pending an investigation.
The speedboat, named Tweety, has been impounded.
