Frustrated farmer storms compensation office in Kozani with gun
A gunman stormed into a building housing the offices of the Organization for Compensation and Payments in Kozani, northern Greece, early on Monday afternoon, and threatened staff to hand over an undetermined sum, reports said.
Police dispatched several units and a negotiator to the scene to attempt to talk down the gunman, who is reportedly a local livestock farmer demanding compensation for losses.
Sources said that there were employees and citizens in the building at the time of the raid.
