Stolen computer may contain data of migrant school

A police unit that deals with incidents of racial violence is investigating the theft of a computer that may have contained the details of dozens of migrants and volunteers from a school in Piraeus that housed a Sunday school for immigrants, Kathimerini understands.

Police refused to confirm or deny that names and addresses of teachers who volunteered at the school and migrants who attended it were stored on the computer. It was stolen early on August 15 from the building which is home to the 14th and 15th High School of Piraeus. “Golden Dawn – Youth Front” had been daubed on the wall.

A police source told Kathimerini that no strong clues regarding the perpetrators’ identity were found at the scene.
