Stargazing from the capital’s National Observatory
The National Observatory of Athens will on Saturday open its doors to the public for a guided tour of the night sky, organizers said Friday.
Staff will offer guided tours of the visible constellations and planets, also with the help of portable telescopes situated on the Hill of the Nymphs.
Tours will start at 8 p.m. and visitors are advised to travel to the site via public transport.
The event is a teaser for “Explorer Night 2014” to be held on September 26.
