Varoufakis says he won’t be finance minister after a ‘Yes’ vote

Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said he would resign if Greece votes to accept European Union bailout proposals.

In the event of a “yes” vote in Sunday’s referendum, “I will not” be finance minister on Monday evening, Varoufakis said in an interview in Athens with Bloomberg Television. “But I will help whoever is.”

Varoufakis said that he expects Greeks to reject the bailout proposals.
