Northern Greece man arrested for animal cruelty
A 38-year-old man was in police detention in Katerini, near Thessaloniki, on Sunday after allegedly tying a dog to the back of his scooter on Saturday and driving around until the animal died.
Police arrested the man after a passer-by reported the alleged act.
He faces charges of abusing an animal.
