The Greek National Opera concludes its summer concert season with an opera gala at the Temple of Olympian Zeus in central Athens on Wednesday, July 29. The open-air concert showcases arias and duets from popular operas including “Nabucco,” “Il Trovatore,” “Otello” and “Tosca,” among others. Performing the works are soprano Cellia Costea, baritone Dimitris Platanias and tenor Dimitris Paksoglou. The Greek National Opera Orchestra and Choir is led by Myron Michailidis. Starts at 9 p.m. and admission is free of charge with priority coupons distributed at 7 p.m.
