Ecclesiazusae | Epidaurus | July 31-August 1

The Greek National Theater presents Aristophanes’ “Ecclesiazusae” at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus on Friday, July 31, and August 1. Directed by Yiannis Bezos the ancient political satire follows the Athenian women who, led by Praxagora, assume power following the defeat of Athens in the Peloponnesian War. The production is part of the Greek Festival. Shows start at 9 p.m. on both nights. Tickets range from 13 to 45 euros; 13 and 10 euros for students.
