The Acharnians | Epidaurus | August 14-15

Yannis Kakleas directs Aristophanes’ “The Acharnians” at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus on Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15. The play follows Dikaiopolis’ quest for justice, peace and meritocracy in war-ravaged Athens, following the Peloponnesian War. The production is part of the Greek Festival. Shows start at 9 p.m. on both nights. Tickets cost 15 euros (lower tier) and 10 euros (upper tier). In Greek with English surtitles.
