Briton found dead after going missing from Zakynthos beach party
A 28-year-old British tourist who went missing during a late-night beach party on the Ionian island of Zakynthos on Sunday was found dead on Monday, the state-run Athens-Macedonian News Agency has reported.
The young man disappeared when he dived into the sea at Laganas Beach for a second time after party organizers had sent a boat to pull him out of the water for safety reasons.
His body washed up Monday on the same beach, where it was discovered by bathers. It will be sent to the port city of Patra, where an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of death.
